The Hair Design Centre was established in 1971 and has been providing metro salons with quality stylists since its conception. Owned by the Salon Resource Group (The Head Shoppe, HS Studio, Vitality Day Spa and The Golden Clipper), we opened our doors in Bayers Road Shopping Centre before moving to the Spring Garden Road area in May 1994. We have recently changed locations for a third time in September 2005.

In this latest transition you will see a place double in size and many more opportunities and as well as more experience for our students. We consistently offer students a great education in a trendy, upbeat environment. Our salon floor offers a fantastic learning environment for our students.
 
Our record speaks for itself! We are very proud that our students continually place in the top 3 at Maritime Beauty and Allied Beauty Association cutting competitions. Our reputation is one of excellence and success. Stylists and salon owners in the industry are our biggest supporters, recommending The Hair Design Centre to all who will listen.

We are the only accredited Pivot Point school in Atlantic Canada! Our graduates have the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to be successful in the beauty industry. They learn how to sculpt, colour, and design hairstyles, but more importantly, they discover new ways to grow in their personal and professional lives!
